Acupuncture & Naturopathic Medicine

If you have landed here, it’s likely there is something you are struggling with that is affecting your overall sense of health and wellbeing. This could be emotional/physical stress, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, musculoskeletal conditions, headaches + migraines, pregnancy related issues, perimenopausal and menopausal imbalances, allergies, anxiety, depression, post surgical scaring and more. Acupuncture and Naturopathic Medicine could help support you and offer some help.

I am a qualified Acupuncturist (rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Naturopath which lets me support clients in a really unique way on their healing journey with a complete and thorough holistic approach. Both involve looking at the whole person and treating the individual and NOT just the disease and symptoms. If you have been looking for answers and not getting anywhere, then this might be for you.

Acupuncture is an ancient healing modality that has been around for thousands of years. By harnessing your ‘Qi’ or vital force, the fine needles are able to provide therapeutic relief for a range of conditions.

How Acupuncture and Naturopathy can help:

A smiling woman with dark brown hair, wearing a black scarf with floral embroidery, standing outdoors with a blurred background of trees and buildings.

In Chinese Medicine, there's a saying that "Prevention is better than cure." Naturopathy is a helpful way to maintain good health and prevent chronic illness. A Naturopath's role is to empower you to take charge of your health by using natural remedies, addressing the root cause of issues rather than just symptoms; helping you make changes for better wellbeing.

My Naturopathic toolkit includes tissue salts, iridology, food energy, nutrition, detox protocols, and flower essences to help clients. I use both Bach Flowers and Australian Bush Flower Essences.

What happens at your first appointment?

At your first appointment, you get to tell your unique story, usually for a whole hour before we begin with the first treatment. This is why I spent 90 minutes on the first consultation. Every individual is unique, we all have our own story and in naturopathy and acupuncture we treat the individual NOT the dis-ease. We will talk about what brings you to the session and I will also ask other questions that will help build a picture. After this, I will take your pulses and check your tongue from a Chinese medicine perspective before deciding what treatment to give you at your first session. The first treatment will be completely tailored to you and may include: cupping, gua sha (a tool we use to release tension and heat from the body) acupuncture and moxibustion (a herb called mugwort which we use to warm the channels and dispel stagnation and pain). Bespoke additional naturopathic advice will be given to support your care between sessions. This could cover Chinese food energetics, tissue salts, flower essences to support your emotional state, and more. I will also suggest how many sessions you might need.

Follow ups and add ons to your sessions

At your follow-up consultation, I will check in with you and note anything new coming up. Each treatment is different and bespoke to you. Continued and appropriate naturopathic support will be given.

For those where it resonates, Flower Essences are recommended to support emotional states. I use both Bach Flower Essences and Australian Bush Flowers. Reiki can also be added while acupuncture needles are in which some people find very relaxing.
